ABOUT US

OUR MISSION...

An active part of the professional theatre community, we are dedicated to preserving the incredible art of improvisational theatre through workshops, outreach, and performance of an original live show in the spirit of good, clean fun.

With over 80 years combined improv comedy chops, the Eclectic Improv Company is Buffalo's most critically acclaimed comedy group, improvising hundreds of shows and winning over critics and audiences alike since 1998.  Based on audience suggestions, everything completely made up on the spot, featuring scenes and songs that have never been seen or heard before... and will never be seen or heard again.

Artvoice describes their “first rate improv’’ as a “dazzling display of quick wit.”  Buffalo.com calls them “undeniably Buffalo’s funniest comedic group” with “amazing wit and incredible good looks.”    BuffaloAtHome.com says they are “hilarious” and “their imaginations are unparalleled.”  And The Buffalo News sees them as “bubbling over with talent and lunacy.”

In 2010 they won “Best Genre Defying Artist” for Artvoice’s Best Of Buffalo Awards and in 2011 they were semi-finalists at Bad Dog Theatre’s Globehead Tournament in Toronto.
